About Us

Dr. Mayer J. Saad, founder of The Woman's Health Pavilion, has served as departmental director at Hillcrest Hospital, Kew Gardens Hospital, and most recently, North Shore University Hospital at Syosset. Dr. Saad is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, as well as surgery. He has been a member of the Queens Gynecological Society, the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, and the American Fertility Society. Dr. Saad is on sabbatical beginning January 1, 2005.
   
Dr. Andre H. Saad is currently the Director of Gynecology at the North Shore University Hospital Syosset campus. Dr. Andre H. Saad trained at Johns Hopkins University, New York University School of Medicine, and at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was recognized as the Outstanding Chief Resident. He has taught advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic techniques to physicians at Presbyterian Hospital, and has been recognized for his post-graduate training in gynecologic surgery. He has been in private practice at The Woman's Health Pavilion since 1994, and is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
 
   
Dr. Stephen E. Scarantino completed his premedical studies at Villanova University, and earned his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine. He fulfilled his specialization in ob/gyn at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Staten Island, where he published numerous articles on women's health care and was acknowledged as an exceptional chief resident. In addition, Dr. Scarantino was a Galloway Fellow in gynecologic oncology at Memorial Sloane-Kettering Cancer Center. He is Board-certified in both surgery and obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Scarantino joined The Woman's Health Pavilion in 1999.
 
   
Dr. Esteban Ortega attended the US Coast Guard Academy, and graduated from Queens College in 1991, where he was on the Dean's list. After working as a teacher for several years, he earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1998. He subsequently completed his specialty training in obstetrics and gynecology at Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx, and at the Medical College of Philadelphia/Hahnemann campus in Philadelphia. Dr. Ortega joined The Woman's Health Pavilion in 2002, and is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He speaks Spanish fluently.
 
   
Dr. Ziba Guy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the State University of New York in Binghampton, and subsequently attended St. George's University School of Medicine. She continued her post-graduate studies at the Brooklyn Hospital Center and at St. Vincent's Catholic Medical Center in New York. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Long Island College Hospital in 2002, and subsequently worked in a multi-specialty group in Brooklyn, and also for the North Shore/LIJ Health System. Dr. Guy joined The Woman's Health Pavilion in 2005 and is board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
 
   

Left: Kathleen "Katy" Tullo, CWHNP joined The Woman's Health Pavilion in 1996, shortly after completing her nursing degree at Queensborough College. She pursued a post-graduate degree, achieving certification as a Woman's Health Nurse Practitioner through the University of Pennsylvania.
Center: Lynda Castagno, RPA-C graduated from LIU in Brooklyn in 1999.She subsequently attended the Touro College Physician Assistant Program where she achieved National Certification. She has had clinical experience at Maimonides, Coney Island, and St. John's Episcopal Hospital before joining us in 2003.
Right: Jennifer Conigliaro, RPA-C graduated from Lehigh with honors, and completed the Touro College Physician Assistant Program cum laude in 2001. Jennifer worked in the Department of Medicine at LIJ before joining The Woman's Health Pavilion in 2003.

Katy, Linda, and Jen are instrumental in our bone density screening and osteoporosis management program.
