While the medical providers may serve as the face of our practice, WHP relies heavily on our clinical support staff to achieve excellence. Members of this team assist us in delivering clinical care.
Our Medical Assistants (MAs) serve as support to our medical providers as they deliver care. They assist with medical intakes, obtain vital signs, draw blood, and assist with in-office procedures. The MAs keep our sessions organized and running smoothly.
Our team of Clinical Supervisors serve to educate and support our Medical Assistants. Clinical Supervisors enforce our clinical protocols and make sure our offices are properly stocked with medical supplies. Clinical Supervisors are also MAs themselves and are always willing to jump in to assist during session when needed.
Our Surgical Coordinators are MAs who not only support our providers during session but assist our doctors in maintaining their surgical schedules. If you choose WHP for your surgical needs, one of these all-stars will make sure your surgery is scheduled, all paperwork is completed in accordance with hospital policy, and of your questions are answered.
Our “Results Team” consists of medical assistants and specially trained to triage patient results. They work closely with an assigned clinician each day to communicate non-urgent results to patients and help facilitate conversations between medical providers and patients when needed.
Each WHP office is equipped with state-of-the-art Ultrasound technology. Operating these ultrasound machines are our trained Ultrasound Technicians. Our Ultrasound Technicians are adept in performing transvaginal and transabdominal sonograms for both obstetrical and gynecologic patients. With their help, WHP provides our patients with these vital imaging studies conveniently in the office.
Our Obstetrical Coordinators help guide our obstetrical patients through their pregnancies. Not only do they regularly reach out to check in on our pregnant patients, but they serve as a resource for our pregnant patients who have questions or concerns. Our Obstetrical Coordinators are also involved in the booking process should you need to be scheduled for induction of labor or cesarean section.
WHP recognizes the importance of good mental health during and after pregnancy. In 2023, we developed the role of Maternal Mental Health Liaison. Assisting our pregnant and postpartum patients to obtain mental health care, this role has proven invaluable at our practice.
WHP has a lab for onsite testing. Our Laboratory Technicians work tirelessly to process specimens such as blood, urine, and pap smears from the office so we can promptly provide you with results. We also have an onsite Pathologist who analyzes our tissue specimens.
