Interview with Caitlyn O’Neil
What led you to the field of obstetrics/gynecology?
I have always felt a pull towards obstetrics/gynecology. I wanted to address the specific issues women face and the specialized care they need throughout their lifespan.
How many years have you been practicing in the field?
After graduating in 2019 with my Masters degree, I worked for two years prior to starting at The Woman’s Health Pavilion in 2021.
What makes your job rewarding? What do you enjoy about your work?
I love the partnership I have with my patients and hearing each of their stories. I enjoy educating patients so that they can make informed decisions about their health care.
What brought you to the area and to this practice?
I moved to the area as my fiancé is attending NYU for his postgraduate dental residency program, and I also have family in the area. I was so happy to start working at the The Woman’s Health Pavilion as I have heard nothing but great things about the practice. I was drawn to the high-quality care provided and the amazing staff.
Do you have special interests or areas of specialty ?
I am drawn to preventive care and complete ob care.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy going to the dog park with my dog Charlie and exploring new parts of the city. I also love cooking and baking new recipes and spending time with family.
