Debrah Weberman, MS, PA-C is a licensed and board-certified physician assistant with a passion for women’s health. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, where she attended Touro University for her undergraduate studies and was a member of the honor’s program, the Flatbush Society of Fellows. During her undergraduate program, Debrah worked as a medical assistant in the pediatric setting, which inspired her to pursue a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Touro School of Health Sciences. Her clinical rotations nurtured her interest in women’s health, and she dedicated herself to a career in Ob/Gyn.

Interview with Debrah Weberman

What led you to the field of obstetrics/gynecology?

I have a genuine passion for all things related to women’s health. I love the synthesis of education and medicine that this field provides, and the miracle of new life never ceases to amaze me.  I am truly honored to be a part of this journey with my patients.

How many years have you been practicing in the field?

After completing my education at Touro University of Health Sciences in 2023, I was privileged to join team at The Women’s Health Pavilion.

What do you enjoy about your work?

What I enjoy most about my job is knowing my patients are genuinely seen and heard. I firmly believe that the patient-provider relationship is the mainstay of exceptional medical care. I also truly enjoy being able to work with knowledgeable and experienced colleagues, which helps me to grow in my profession.

What brought you to the area and to this practice?

I grew up in Brooklyn, and currently live with my family in Queens, NY. Joining WHP was truly a dream realized. Their stellar reputation speaks volumes about their commitment to patient care.

Do you have special interests or areas of specialty?

While so many aspects of this field intrigue me; I am specifically interested in hormonal imbalances, fertility, and all kinds of patient counseling and education.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

I love spending my free time with my husband and adorable toddler. I enjoy any and all DIY projects, party planning, listening to a good podcast, hunting for a bargain, and cooking (and eating) new foods!
