Michelle Walsh MS, PA-C joined The Woman’s Health Pavilion in 2016. She has always had a strong interest in women’s health, which was further enhanced during her clinical rotations. As a certified physician assistant, Michelle takes pride in educating her OB-GYN patients and building trustworthy relationships with them at our Howard Beach office.

Education & Training
Michelle earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Hofstra University. She then earned her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, NY. During her graduate education, Michelle completed a thesis that was presented at the 2016 American Academy of Physician Assistants Conference in San Antonio, TX.

An Interview With Michelle
What led you to the field of obstetrics/gynecology?
I have always had a strong interest in the field of obstetrics/gynecology since my first job volunteering in an antenatal testing unit of a local hospital. During PA school, I chose to do my elective rotation in OB-GYN, which further enhanced my interest.
How many years have you been practicing in the field?
I have been practicing in the field since joining the WHP in July 2016.
What makes your job rewarding?
This job gives me the opportunity to meet new people every day while also being able to catch up with established patients. In addition, working alongside a group of talented and dedicated people makes each day at work enjoyable.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy cooking and trying new food with my fiancé as well as spending time with my family.
