An Interview With Michelle

What led you to the field of obstetrics/gynecology?

I have always had a strong interest in the field of obstetrics/gynecology since my first job volunteering in an antenatal testing unit of a local hospital. During PA school, I chose to do my elective rotation in OB-GYN, which further enhanced my interest.

How many years have you been practicing in the field?

I have been practicing in the field since joining the WHP in July 2016.

What makes your job rewarding?

This job gives me the opportunity to meet new people every day while also being able to catch up with established patients. In addition, working alongside a group of talented and dedicated people makes each day at work enjoyable.

“Overall, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing the smile on the face of a patient who just heard her baby’s heartbeat for the first time.”

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

I enjoy cooking and trying new food with my fiancé as well as spending time with my family.
