Birth Control Options
If you want to postpone or permanently prevent pregnancy, we offer choices for contraception that range from hormones such as the Pill and the contraceptive patch, to implantable options such as IUDs, and surgical options such as tubal ligation (having your tubes tied). Let us help you choose the right solution for you.
BOTOX® Cosmetic
Our skilled injectors can help you look more youthful and refreshed—and stay that way, with these safe, quick injections. We also offer Newtox® (also known as Jeauveau®), a more recent alternative to BOTOX that was developed specifically for cosmetic use. You can schedule an appointment just for a wrinkle treatment or add it to your OB-GYN appointment.
Endometrial Ablation
If you are bothered by heavy periods and do not want to become pregnant in the future, an endometrial ablation procedure such as NovaSure® might be a solution. This simple minimally invasive procedure inactivates the lining of the uterus to greatly reduce or completely stop menstrual bleeding.
Laparoscopic Hysterectomy
We will help you understand if a hysterectomy (removal of the uterus) could improve your quality of life. If so, there’s an excellent chance that the surgery can be performed using minimally invasive techniques that involve minimal pain, tiny scars, and a short recovery period.
Minimally Invasive Myomectomy
If you require surgical removal of fibroids, called myomectomy, our surgeons have specialized expertise in performing this procedure using state-of-the-art techniques.
Obturator Sling
Women suffering from stress incontinence may gain relief from placement of an obturator sling to support the bladder. This procedure is often performed using a minimally invasive surgical technique.
Tubal Sterilization
This procedure is the most common choice with couples that want permanent contraception. Our doctors can “tie your tubes” during or immediately after delivery, or at a future date using laparoscopic techniques.
